Living in University Housing is one of the fastest and easiest ways to make campus feel like home. You’ll have opportunities to grow and develop through educational, cultural, recreational and social programs available in all housing locations and in living-learning communities. You’re guaranteed to meet more people, and you’ll feel more connected to the university community.

Patton Hall houses first-year students in suite-style living, offering single and double rooms.
Patton Hall offers suite-style accommodations for about 325 residents. Floor plans include single and shared rooms. *First-year community; onsite dining center
Piedmont Central is a primarily first-year housing facility for approximately 1,152 students.
Piedmont Central offers traditional suite-style accommodations for nearly 1,150 residents. Floor plans include shared suites with both double-shared and limited single-room options. Piedmont Central hosts a few living learning communities (LLCs) including Pre-Nursing and Performing Arts. *First-year community; onsite dining center
Piedmont North houses primarily first-year students and offers double- and triple- occupancy rooms.
Piedmont North consists of two buildings with traditional shared rooms. Shared-room floor plans include both double- and triple-occupancy rooms. This area houses approximately 1,000 residents in a dynamic and diverse community. *First-year community; on-site dining center
University Commons houses approximately 2,000 students and is primarily designated for upperclass students.
University Commons consists of four apartment-style buildings, housing close to 2,000 residents. Floor plans include both two- and four-bedroom units with living rooms and full kitchens. University Commons hosts numerous living learning communities including Honors College and Entrepreneurship (E-House). *Upperclass community
University Lofts houses about 550 residents and is primarily designated for upperclass students.
University Lofts offers urban, loft-style apartments for approximately 550 residents. Apartments vary in layout, from studio to four-bedroom floor plans, all with living rooms and full kitchens. *Upperclass community
Greek Housing consists of nine fraternities and sororities housed in three-story town homes.
Greek housing offers nine town houses for members of fraternities and sororities. Townhouses range from nine to 19 beds. Each townhouse features a common living area and kitchen. Residents also have access to a meeting space located within the community.

University Lofts has a total occupancy of 550 residents, primarily undergrad students.
University Lofts offers urban, loft-style apartments for approximately 550 residents. Apartments vary in layout, from studio to four-bedroom floor plans, all with living rooms and full kitchens. University Lofts hosts the Global Living Learning Community, which is designed to increase interactions between domestic and international students. University Lofts is the only on-campus residence hall open during winter break. *Upperclassmen community
Greek Housing consists of nine fraternities and sororities housed in three-story town homes.
The Greek Housing community homes range in size from nine to 19 beds per unit. Each town home features a spacious living room, kitchen and furnished bedrooms. Greek organizations may uniquely decorate their town homes, so members have a sense of living in a traditional house with all of the convenience of living on campus.
Take advantage of communal dining, athletics, concerts, film showings, and other cultural, social and recreational opportunities. There’s always something to be a part of, and you can choose your level of involvement.
You’ll also have additional access to lectures and instruction, study groups and student organizations, and advisement and career services. Plus, University Housing staff are always available to assist you.

The Panther Residential Experience, or Panther XP for short, is University Housing's approach to help our residents learn and develop communities in the residence halls. Panther XP answers the question, "What do we want students to learn as a result of living in our residential communities?" Panther XP connects to our department’s mission and values. Each residential community will use a variety of strategies throughout the year to ensure we focus on enhancing student learning around our educational priorities: Life Skills, Personal Development, and Community Responsibility.

Consider running for the Community Council in your residence hall, joining the Residence Hall Association, gaining leadership skills by participating in Panther LEAP or building cultural competency in Panther Ambassadors for a Culturally Competent Campus.
